Alexandre started his career in IT, having worked in systems engineering and software development roles. Before transitioning to the Financial Services industry, he was responsible for the software development services of Infologo SA. Alexandre proved himself, during volatile years of the credit crisis, as a successful derivatives portfolio manager and proprietary trader with Barclays Investment Bank.

From Geneva (Switzerland), Alexandre studied mathematics at the University of Geneva. He has Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science, Computer Science honors degrees from Webster University (2001) and Master of Science in Quantitative Finance and Risk Management degree from Bocconi University (2005). Alexandre passed ISACA CISA (2005) and UK's Securities & Investment Institute investments and derivatives (2006) certifications.
